In October 2012 the Royal College of Music International Opera School gave the London premiere of Jonathan Dove`s opera Seven Angels. Jonathan Dove is one of the most celebrated modern day British opera composers, seen by many as the heir to Britten. This intimate piece revolved around a sequence of encounters between the Renaissance painter Piero della Francesca and an enigmatic angelic figure. On display in the Britten Theatre were angel paintings by Anita Klein, whose own work has been inspired by Piero.

In preparation for the opera backdrop, Anita made many studies and sketches and created a portfolio of linocuts to celebrate the project.
